What is the Annual Giving Program?
The Sigma Pi Foundation Annual Giving Program works to provide more than $100,000 in support of the undergraduates of Sigma Pi and the General Fraternity. Annual gifts are an important source of operational support for Foundation programs, including scholarships, leadership training, equipment, and staff development.
Who contributes to the Foundation?
Individuals like you keep the Foundation going. Each year, brothers of Sigma Pi and friends of the Foundation affirm their commitment to the ideals and goals of the Foundation through gifts to the Annual Fund. Last fiscal year, more than 1,500 donors made generous gifts to our Annual Fund. Without the assistance of our dedicated donors, none of the Foundation programs would be possible.
Why is my gift important?
The costs of the operation and services of the Foundation are provided entirely by voluntary contributions from alumni members of Sigma Pi. Gifts to the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation Annual Fund for Academic Excellence provide the engine and manpower to create the leadership programs and academic assistance that benefit our undergraduates.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. All gifts to the Foundation are tax-exempt to the fullest extent allowed by law. The Sigma Pi Educational Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Our federal tax ID number is 22-6034109.
